But seriously — “Muse” is finally in the hands of my alpha readers and man oh man…. I was not prepared for how vulnerable sharing this story was. I’ve been thinking really hard about why this one is sticky.

Because it’s inspired by a real interaction.

Because it’s my most morally unhinged characters and most dubious consent to date.

A bit of both, to be honest. My Ride-or-Die writing group thinks I should tag the individual who inspired this story, but I think I will let it sit in the universe as is.
