The thing about best laid plans? The second you make them, they shift. And with the way my mind works… it’s guaranteed that the moment I whisper, “Well, that’s ready,” the narrator chimes in.

It was not ready.

So here we are — a 0.5 blog post. While I contemplate redoing my website for the third time in 72 hours (don’t ask)… guess what I’m decidedly not doing?

Polishing off the final edit of Midnight.

Have I told you about Midnight? Just a fever dream sparked by a song that nearly had me dropping dumbbells on my feet. It’s an angsty workplace romance, full of tension, messy consent, and a whole lot of lace and fury.

The rest of you will have to wait until later this month. But… you will be able to see the first teaser for the tasty little story tomorrow on social media. And there is still time to get on the mailing list. Which, by the way, is the only way to get your hands on Midnight when it does drop.

Until then, I’ll be over here obsessing about luring you deeper into my little web, editing like a madwoman, and making sure everything is just right.
