I’m not going to lie : For a story that poured out of me so quickly last fall, it sure took a toll on me to edit. I thought I had a working edition over the winter then sat on it, picking it up this month and going another round to get it right. For some reason, this story and my book are just putting me through the ringer. Writer friends assure me that it’s a normal thing but…
I’m back with my writing group (yay!) and it’s forcing me to put at least 2-3 hours into my work every week, even when I’m slammed.
